The soldier collapsed in a heap and then the room was quiet except for Dr. Cranks groans of pain.

and he jumped only to be hit right on his leg. he yelled in agony looking down to his leg where he felt the seering pain in his right thigh "GODDAMMIT!" he cursed and raised his phaser and shot the soldier in the stomach

The final soldier charged the young Doctor weapon ready and he fired. . .

he looked across the room where his phaser lay on the coumter near the door then his eyes looked to package of scalpels in his hand. within a second he threw them at the soldiers hitting one in the face and another in the chest. he lunged for the phaser barely grabbing it just in time to move out of the way of a blast from one of the soldiers

The room was pierced with the sound of a transporter as four Jem'Hadar soldiers beamed into the room. They charged toward the helpless Doctor.

looks up thinking to himself "crap."

A sound punctures the silence with the comm signal. "Bridge to sickbay, Doctor, we are under attack by three Dominion warships stand by to recieve casualties" the comm line fades away as the Captain returns his focus to the battle.
